INFORMATION FOR TOURISTS

white line indicates free parking zone,

 

blue line indicates paid parking zone (cost varies depending on the city/region - failure to pay a ticket will result in a €90 fine),

 

yellow line indicates no parking (the fine for parking in a prohibited place is from 200 to 500 euros, the cost of towing is at least 200 euros),

 

green/red lines no parking, zone for residents (risks a fine and towing of the car),

 

no entry to the old town of Palma!!! Zone for residents only (risks a high fine!!!)

 

no entry to Formentor from June 1 to September 30 between 10:00 and 22:30 (entry also risks a fine).

After reaching your destination, please do not leave any items in the cars (seats or storage compartments)!

 

Leaving things in the car may result in a window being broken or another break-in to the car. Thieves watch parking lots and see tourists when they hide things or money in the glove compartment, trunk or under the seats. Then, when the Tourist goes sightseeing or takes a picture, they quickly move into action.
